Finally the new metro is now open.It's not that long as you think and not all stations work.So don't get confused when you see stations that are in the metro leaflets and signs that don't work.The whole thing is still under construction and it will be finished in about two years.... [we hope] However you can use the existing stations....

Stations that DO operate:
 
Red line
  1. Sepolia
  2. Attiki
  3. Stathmos Larisis
  4. Metaksourgio
  5. Omonia
  6. Panepistimio
  7. Sintagma

 
 
Blue line
  1. Sintagma
  2. Evagelismos
  3. Megaro mousikis
  4. Ampelokipi
  5. Panormou
  6. Katexaki
This small chart is included in a leaflet that you will find in any metro station.
However what you see here is the original with some modifications by me.
So what you see here is the true active stations & routes.
 
Signs:That square K is that you can buy monthly cards in those stations.                                     
That bus in the round is that that station is also the start of a bus route.                      
That puzzle sign in Sintagma station means that there is a lost-and-found office there.

Advantages and disadvantages of the new metro:

Disadvantages:
i)No air-condicioning
ii)Expensive ticket
iii)Noise!!
iv)Disorientating charts about stations
v)Halfconstructed stations
Advantages:
i)No traffic like buses
ii)Sligthly better timetables than ISAP
